I have to admit I am liking the baron... He is making a nice contrast to the dragon hunter and I am finding it hard to dislike either of them.

I wish I could say the same about the baron's companion...

I've been a longtime fan of IAHL, and was excited to hear about this comic. The watercolors are absolutely gorgeous! This story looks like it's going to be awesome, and I really can't wait to see where it goes. Keep it up!!

My goodness Qlock, this comic is so damn beautiful! You really put an enormous effort in all the detail, and the backgrounds are truly to die for <333 Will follow this! How many chapters will the story have?

@Vixenkiba: At least 2 chapters, as that's how many projects I need to finish for my university degree. Every chapter will be a short story in itself though and I have ideas I would like to draw after that ... but we'll see, it would be hard to juggle 2 webcomics at a time.

Beautiful

reply

So, I'm hopping over here after having been a fan of "It's a Hard Life," and I have to say...

This is absolutely beautiful. Those colors are stunning, and the artwork is superb. Amazing detail. You also appear to be taking the medieval-quest-to-fight-dragons genre and turning it on its head. I'm excited to read where you take this. Best of luck!

Yeah!

I really liked the background, details, colors and the characters' designs, but is the pace of the narrative that's drawing my attention this time. I mean... The events in these last pages really make me want to find out what's coming next.
No wonder It's a Hard Life is a hit: you're not only an awesome artist but also very talented with narrative.
You could work with this, you know? I would buy a comic book with your level of art and story at anytime!

Best regards from this Br fan!

@Mr. Sorry for Writing too Much: And you might actually get the chance to buy one, because I need to get this printed anyway, for the sake of my uni degree. (and no need to be sorry for writing too much) x'D

I'm enjoying this so far. I like the protagonists design and choice of weapon. Not enough good guys use spears.

Not bad

Background lighting and colors are definitely your forte, the characters look great and the detail you put on shading the characters and environment is fantastic. I do feel like the faces expressions are exaggerated, however, whether that fits in with the comic or not, I cant decide. It may be a good thing given how vibrant the colors are.

Overall: Its aesthetically great, the MC is likeable, the baron is clich├ęd though, and the world seems interesting, where dragons are a part of everyday life and not all of them are rampaging, fire breathing monstrosity's.
Cant say more about it, need to see more content, but its pretty good so far.
But TBF, Hard Life started out the same way and look what it has become now, cant wait to see how this turns out. Keep it up man!
