Whoops, almost forgot about this buuut at least it's still sunday. I was playing dnd for the first time and that was all my mind was occupied with.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback again. I'm glad (some of you) still like the baron (somewhat). When I first started writing him he was supposed to be that annoying character but then he sort of just grew by himself.

Yes I do like the baron. He can seem a tad annoying but then what parent would come across as reasonable and calm when their child is missing?

I have to admit he seems like someone who might be pleasant to be around if they weren't consumed by concern and worry about their child.

I am not so sure about that other person(the baron's wife?) who seemed more concerned about the family silver than the daughter.

Idk why but I really love Varin. He's not a typical hero but a kind, everyday, meet-on-the-street type of person, and I find myself liking him all the more for it :)

Ooh, started playing D&D, huh? I started playing in the last year, it's super addicting!

As for the baron, I think he has a chance to be a fine character and these two create a fun dynamic I'd like to see grow. Assuming the baron sticks around.

@Tehpikachu: Yup! I've wanted to play dnd for so many years but it's not until now my friends got interested enough to start a game.

personally, I think you did great with the baron. Being Aristocracy, he has that air of arrogance and demand, yet he is a father that is being torn apart about his missing daughter, who he probably knows why his daughter ran away. if she did that is.

Funny thing is, I like the main character less, personality wise, than the baron. Main guy is kind of a jerk who, while realistic, seems to to not only not be a guy to go out of his way to help someone, but will actively try to avoid helping someone more than he feels he's being paid to do. He's also comes across as extremely judgmental of someone he just met (I suspect he resents noblemen). Baron, meanwhile, is worried about his daughter and while clearly has aristocratic arrogance, seems concerned with his daughter's safety more than anything. I was expecting it to turn around with him needing her to marry some guy for his cash or political influence or something (and it still could), but so far, it seems he just loves his kid and wants her to be safe.
